The Dog Boot Dance
Please make sure you read about the 'Dog Boot Dance' in advance of your dog trying on their boots.
If buying a new pair of shoes for yourself you would most likely try them on in the shop and wear them in your home making sure they were comfortable before taking them out and marking the soles. With the same concept in mind please allow your dog to try their new shoes in the comfort of your own home before wearing them outside. This is to ensure that your dog is happy in their boots and that they fit well without slipping, coming loose or falling off. Boots which slip off generally indicates a fitting issue and once worn outside we are unable to provide exchanges or returns for size changes due to fit.
We always advise that just as you would with your own boots once outside enjoying a walk that you stop and check the fit and tension after an initial ten minutes and then throughout your journey.
