There's a moment at the start of every walk where you're clipping the collar, your dog thinks they have already started, and you've got one hand free at best. The Fidlock® magnetic buckle was made for exactly that. It self-aligns as you bring it together, clicks secure without fiddling, and releases just as cleanly. One hand. Every time. 

The Ridgeline is built for the days when you're properly out. On a ridge, in the wind, further than you planned. The webbing is reflective, silicone-dipped polyester - soft against the neck, strong under load, light enough that neither of you will notice it's there. Integrated reflectivity means you're visible when the light starts to go.

Tags sit on a separate attachment point, away from the leash ring, so they stay put. A silicone silencer keeps them quiet. The aluminium V-ring handles the leash.

A note on collar safety.

Collars are an everyday essential, but it's worth keeping a few things in mind. Remove your dog's collar during play with other dogs, when they're home alone, and when they're in their crate. Check the fit regularly - two fingers between collar and neck is the sweet spot. Stay aware of your dog and their surroundings, and you'll keep the risks where they belong: minimal.
