The Ruffwear Switchbak™ is built for the kind of walking that doesn't stay the same for long - busy streets, open trails, crowded car parks, technical terrain. Two lockable Crux Clips and a pair of sliding V-rings let you reconfigure on the move without stopping, unclipping, or faffing about.
The supple, silicone-dipped webbing adjusts smoothly and feels good in the hand, whether you're holding it or wearing it around your waist.
The double-ended design also makes it a natural choice for loose lead training - and for dogs who've already learned like our goldie Kizzie. Clip one end to the back of your dog's harness and the other to the front attachment point: the dual connection gives you more nuanced communication through the lead, letting you guide gently without pulling on the neck. It's how a lot of people teach loose lead walking, and how plenty of us keep using it long after the training is done.
An accessory loop on the handle keeps pick-up bags or small clip-on items close to hand. Length adjusts from 2.5 to 7 ft (0.7–2.1 m).
