Rosewood's Veggie Burst Crunchy Cookies are made with real fruits, grasses, and vegetables - wheat, oat bran, pumpkin, carrot, apple, banana - baked into a gnawable cookie that satisfies both the need to chew and the instinct to forage. Two different textures mean there's always something new to discover, and at around 5cm across, each cookie is a proper handful for a curious rabbit or rodent.
Low in fat at just 3.5%, naturally flavoured and coloured, and genuinely good fun to eat.
Hide one in a hay pile and watch what happens.
Composition: Wheat plant (26.4%), oat bran (22.5%), milo (10%), pea fibre (7.5%), dried pumpkin (7.5%), dried carrot (6%), corn flour (5%), dried apple (4%), vegetable glycerine, flax seed (2.5%), alfalfa (1.5%), dried banana (1.5%), maltose syrup, potassium sorbate, turmeric.

Feeding guide:
Rosewood recommend 1 cookie per pet every 1–2 weeks. As with all treats, add and remove as needed - particularly important for smaller pets such as chinchillas and degus where portion control matters most.

Is carrot good for rabbits?
Carrot appears in these cookies - and that's absolutely fine in treat quantities. But it's worth knowing that carrots are relatively high in natural sugar, which means they should always be fed sparingly rather than as a staple. As a small ingredient in an occasional treat given every week or two, it's perfectly balanced. A big sorry from us to Bugs Bunny!
What makes a good enrichment treat?
The best enrichment treats do more than taste good - they make your pet work a little. The gnawable texture of these cookies encourages natural chewing behaviour, which is important for dental health in rabbits and rodents. Hide one inside a hay pile, tuck it into a cardboard tube, or place it at the end of a simple foraging trail. The treat becomes the reward for the activity, not just the activity itself.
Which small animals can have these?
Rabbits and guinea pigs might be the obvious fit, but these cookies are also suitable for chinchillas and degus, all rodents - just be mindful of portion size with smaller species. Rosewood recommend no more than 1 cookie per pet every 1–2 weeks regardless of species.
What does low fat mean for small animals?
At 3.5% fat, these sit comfortably within the treat range for most small animals. A high-fat treat given frequently can contribute to weight gain and digestive issues - so the low fat content here, combined with the once-a-fortnight feeding guide, means you can treat them without worrying.
