"I was looking for something that would both keep Merlin the hamster entertained and be good for his teeth. I tried novelty wooden fruit shapes and wooden toys that he could chew, but he hadn't shown interest in any of them. The carrot woodroll, on the other hand, was an instant success. As soon as he saw it he immediately started to gnaw on it. I think it will take him quite some time to work his way through it, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy another once he has completed the challenge!"
