Is the Crag collar reflective enough for dark walks?
Reflective Tubelok™ webbing is a solid baseline - it catches headlights and torchlight, and it's woven through the collar rather than printed on, so it won't crack or peel over time. But a collar is a small surface area, and on a long-coated dog it may be partially hidden. If visibility in the dark is a real concern, the collar is a good start - not the whole answer. The Lumenglow High-Vis Vest and Beacon Safety Light are where the serious low-light kit begins.
Does the Crag collar come with a matching lead?
Yes - the Crag Reflective Lead is designed to match and uses the same Tubelok reflective webbing. Same colours, same hardware quality, same low-light performance. A neat set without trying too hard.
How do I stop my dog's ID tags from jingling?
The Crag has a dedicated ID tag attachment point that sits separately from the main lead ring, paired with a silicone tag silencer that sits behind the tags and stops the noise. It's a small detail that makes a real difference on an early morning walk when everything else is quiet.
When should I remove my dog's collar?
Collars are an everyday essential, but it's worth keeping a few things in mind. Remove your dog's collar during play with other dogs, when they're home alone, and when they're in their crate. Check the fit regularly - two fingers between collar and neck is the sweet spot. Stay aware of your dog and their surroundings, and you'll keep the risks where they belong: minimal.
