There's something quietly perfect about a grass ball. No mechanism, no batteries, no instructions - just a tightly woven sphere of natural grass that rolls when nudged, gives when chewed, and gradually becomes something completely different as your pet works through it.
The Nature First Grassy Ball is made from 100% natural grass, untreated and undyed, at around 11cm across - just the right size for a rabbit to really get into, or a guinea pig to push around with considerable purpose.

Is natural grass safe for rabbits and guinea pigs to chew through entirely?
Yes - natural grass is one of the safest materials a small animal can chew, pull apart, and ingest. It's fibrous, untreated, and supports the kind of continuous gnawing that keeps constantly growing teeth in good condition. If your pet demolishes it completely, that's the enrichment doing exactly what it should.
What's the difference between a grass ball and a hay toy?
Hay toys tend to be looser and more about foraging - hiding things inside, pulling strands out. A woven grass ball is denser and more about physical interaction - rolling, batting, carrying, chewing through the structure itself. They do different things for an animal's brain, which is why having both in rotation is worth considering.
Will my small animal actually play with it, or just ignore it?
