The Palisades Pack was built for those days - Ruffwear's highest-volume pack, designed for long routes and multi-day adventures where your dog pulls their weight alongside you.
Moulded and perforated EVA foam panels keep the fit breathable and comfortable across big days. The radial cut, weight-forward saddlebags sit stable against your dog's sides - no bounce, no shifting - and when you stop for the night, they detach completely, leaving a streamlined harness for exploring around camp. Six points of adjustment dial in the fit. Three leash attachment points give you options on technical ground. Reflective trim and a light loop for The Beacon keep you both visible when the light fades.
Two 1-litre collapsible hydration bladders are included. Your dog shouldn't carry more than 25% of their body weight - and if they're new to packs, start light and build up over a few outings.
