Albie takes his responsibilities as the boss of Barks & Bunnies very seriously....
He likes to thoroughly check everything we do, the decisions we make and the stock that we sell - in fact, sometimes he likes to check a little too thoroughly!
Lately, we have been expanding the selection of natural dog treats available on the Barks & Bunnies website and as Green & Wilds have been extensively adding to their product range we were keen to add some new flavours - all under Albie's direction of course.
One weekend last month we began to organise our new stock getting it ready to add to the website. All the new treats were stacked neatly on the floor beside our computer with each type of treat or chew in it's own pile.
Unexpectedly we had to pop out right in the middle of what we were doing, so as usual, we left Albie & Kizzie with their Kongs and told them we would be back in an hour..... When we got home we were greeted by Kizzie first (as normal) and then walked further into our house and found Albie.... with a very waggy tail and his self-helped stash of dog treats!
That's right, Albie had helped himself to some Green & Wilds Ox Liver Chew dog treats while we were out, in fact they were so good he had helped himself to TWO bags of dog treats!!
We had a good laugh and gave him some massive cuddles for being so resourceful and opening two bags of treats.
Albie had a choice of four different treats to choose from but picked two of the same flavour, Green & Wilds Ox Liver Chews.
We can't help but wonder if they smelt so good that he took two bags to start with or tried one and thought it was so good that he went back for another!
Those of you that have been with us for a while will know Albie suffers from Colitis and is very sensitive to any change in diet. We had visions of him getting a tummy ache at three in the morning and us having to take him out.
To our surprise, he didn't get tummy ache at all so I thInk we can safely say that these Ox Liver Chews are well and truly Albie approved!
