It was binkies all round when we found out that The Innocent Hound were expanding their product selection and rebranding as The Innocent Pet because to be included in this new luxury treat range is a choice natural treats especially for rabbits and guinea pigs.

Libby & Chuzzlewit haven't helped us review anything before so it was really exciting to be able to get the camera out and see what they thought.

So what did Libby & Chuzzlewit think?

It's a well-known fact that some bunnies can be rather fussy when it comes to their food or treats. Libby and Chuzzlewit both have quite different tastes in what they enjoy but then also often enjoy the same things - they like to keep us guessing!

It's safe to say that they both expressed an immediate interest in The Innocent Pet Fragrant Herb Nibbles as soon as we opened the packet and put them in the bowl.

Nutritional Benefits

It's really important to feed rabbits with a variety of natural vitamins, minerals and other nutrients, they all carry health benefits to help keep their overall body condition in good shape as well are caring for their sensitive guts.

These handmade treats have been air-dried to help retain as many nutrients as possible providing a fantastic fibre source of 16.2%.

Natural Ingredients

There are no hidden nasties in these treats which is perfect because Libby and Chuzzlewit only eat the most natural things we can find.

Aromatic & Enticing Smell

A blend of grass with banana, carrot, coriander, and fenugreek has created an extremely fragrant treat with the enticing aroma waking both yours and your bunnies senses as soon as the bag is open - and any bunny that likes Fenugreek Crunchies should like Innocent Rabbit Fragrant Herb Nibbles because the smell is instantly recognisable.

How many treats were in the bag?

We sort of forgot to count! We were so excited to write Libby and Chuzzlewit's first blog review and take some photos of them that we can keep forever that we emptied them into the pot and let them eat some before counting!

We have also then continued to feed them each a couple of treats every day since and are currently left with twenty-seven treats in the 60g pouch. The good news for Libby and Chuzzlewit is that this means we will have to give them another bag so that we can count and come back here to update the blog!

We found the bag size quite deceptive because it looked like a relatively small number of treats but they have actually lasted Libby and Chuzzlewit incredibly well without leaving a glut or having to feed the same treat continuously for weeks at a time.

Each bag is handmade in Yorkshire (UK) and made by The Innocent Pet, a delightful British company run by a small team and dedicated to bringing premium quality, natural treats to your rabbits.

The Packaging

At the time of writing this review the Innocent Pet Company were still rebranding from being previously known as The Innocent Hound. That means the packaging we received will soon be updated with some exciting new features that will reinforce this luxurious and premium brand.

The bag was resealable, perfect for keeping the treats fresh for Libby and Chuzzlewit to enjoy over a number of days.

The labeling was clear and easy to read to get important nutritional information and to see all the ingredients at a quick glance.
