Albie & Kizzie were lucky enough to be invited to try out the new interactive Planet Dog Nook extra tough dog toy.
As ever they are giving a full, unbiased and honest review - although when the testing of a product includes the use of peanut butter it's hard to keep them objective!

The Planet Dog Orbee Tuff Nook is an extra tough dog toy - 100% guaranteed indestructible and with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
Available in 3 different colours, and in 3 different whimsical cut-out shapes perfect for stuffing with treats or peanut butter! The designs available are; a red heart, green peace symbol and lastly a yellow happy smiling face.
Why is it called a Nook? Simply put, these boredom-busting toys will have your dog checking every nook and cranny to find their treats!
Generally, Albie & Kizzie are both very good with their toys.... but Kizzie recently sent her own interactive treat dispenser to 'toy heaven' after enthusiastically chewing through it to reach every last hint of peanut butter!
So step up the Planet Dog Orbee Tuff Nook and a jar of peanut butter!
Each of the whimsical shapes provides a different challenge, the green peace sign and smiley face have the most intricate patterns to them and therefore provide the greatest interactive puzzle challenge.
It was intricate holes and shapes that had defeated Kizzie's previous interactive dog toy so we were quite excited to see how the Nook would stand up to Kizzie's robust peanut butter testing!
As soon as Kizzie saw the ball in my hand she was excited and barking, this only became more persistent when she saw the peanut butter! Meanwhile Albie sat drooling and waiting for his treat!
Both dogs happily spent 30 minutes in the garden swapping toys until they were sure that every last trace of peanut butter was gone.
They cleared out the red heart quite quickly, it was the green peace sign and yellow smiley face that keep them occupied so well.

So we already knew that Kizzie will eat through a toy to reach her favourite peanut butter - but with Planet Dog's 100% satisfaction guarantee and being rated 5 out of 5 on their compers tough scale we wondered if the Orbee Tuff Nook would stand up to her.
It did.
Even having had the toy at 2pm that afternoon and playing with it almost consistently until 10pm that night there wasn't a mark, dent or scratch on any of the toys.
Neither Albie, nor Kizzie had damaged the Orbee Nook at all.

As soon as the box arrived and we gave Kizzie her Orbee Tuff Nook I had a feeling it would fast become a favourite toy.
Kizzie can be quite fussy with which balls she will play with but the size, texture and weight of the Nook was all 10 out of 10 on her wishlist.
Although the Orbee Tuff Nook is an extra tough dog toy it isn't hard and rigid but in fact satisfyingly soft and pliable so Kizzie could squish it between her jaws as she ran back to us for an extra feel-good endorphin rush.
Albie generally prefers to play with a soft plush toy and to date there is only one ball that he will reliably play fetch with so we were interested to see what he thought of the Planet Dog Nook, would he want to play?
He certainly did! Albie was so smitten with his yellow smiley face that persuading him to let me have it back to throw again was more tricky than I had expected! His favourite game is 'catch me if you can' and it is a game strictly reserved for playing with items he considers of high value!
We loved that the colours of each toy are so bright too - it made it easy to find them in the grass or spot them under the sofa late at night!
Rated 5 out of 5
As with all Planet Dog tough dog toys they can be rinsed clean, and no matter how much grass, mud or peanut butter we threw at these toys (and doggy drool too) nothing stained them. A quick dash under a running tap and they came out clean.
There are no sharp edges which could hurt their gums or teeth and the minty smell is just straight up good fun as well as adding to her olfactory experience.
Best of all the Orbee Tuff Nook floats - we have two water loving dogs so taking these brightly coloured floating dog toys out to their favourite water spot will be ideal.
So far the Planet dog Orbee Tuff Nook has been a complete success.
No damage means they are an ideal alternative to other interactive dog toys and they are so easy to keep clean, float, bounce - they are an all round dog toy that really does do everything.
The Planet Dog Nook seems an incredibly versatile toy, not out of place at the park playing fetch but also suitable as a boredom buster.
The 100% satisfaction guarantee gives peace of mind when buying and should we see any damage as Albie & Kizzie continue to play we will update this blog.
