Waterproof Design 

Polar Trex boots are waterproof and windproof while the softshell upper fabric is breathable for comfort.

Lug Design for Winter

The Ruffwear-designed Vibram® Icetrek outsole features a winter specific lug-design to provide traction on frozen surfaces and is a barrier against cold and snow-melt chemicals.

Stretch Gaiter

The hook-and-loop closure cinches at the narrowest part of the dog’s leg for a secure fit. Zip the stretch gaiter over the closure to protect the hook-and-loop from snow build-up.

Check for Fit

Just as you would with your gear, adjust fit and check tension of boot straps 15 minutes into your activity and throughout the adventure as needed.

They should be tried indoors for a short duration to ensure they are a comfortable fit before wearing them outside. If boots slip off it indicates a fitting issue and this can be confirmed by a short testing period inside keeping the boots in as new condition.
